MANICURE MUSE: Prabal Gurung SP’12
I hate the color purple. I don’t know why, but I always have. With that said, Prabal Gurung’s Spring ‘12 collection is the only exception. This intoxicating collection is by far one of my favorites of the season. To emulate one of my favorite looks from the show, I used Sexy Divide (Essie), Jamaica Me Crazy (Essie), True Blue (Orly), with Cotton (American Apparel) as the base.

MANICURE MUSE: Balmain SP’12
Balmain simply wouldn’t be Balmain without some lavish jackets and barely-there minis. I’m loving the gold and white embellishment, so with the holidays coming up, this might mean sprinting to the nearest Balmain store. One-way ticket to Paris, please! For this look I used “Got My Groove Back” by Ginger+Liz and a white by Color Club.

(Really bad) Pamela Love SS12 inspired nail DIY I did the other day with different colors. Of course I took it off after. I think my favorite is the last with the pale pink Essie.
My nails are going to be amazing forever and ever now that I found this trick. All you do is paint your nails, let them dry and put a piece of tape over the spots you don’t want painted, paint with a new color and immediately take the tape off. I just did it on my nails, although I didn’t plan it out very well so it doesn’t look very good, but the technique worked perfectly! I used fancy craft scissors to cut the tape so I have a “tear” of black going down the side of my nail…you know what? It’ll be easier to post a picture. Hold on a min.
